It’s been a rough week. Unfortunately due to my day-job ruining my own personal downtime, I haven’t been able to write a lot. This is both a good and a bad thing. Good because I make money, bad because it shows how I’m not able to really dedicate time to this awesome hobby of mine.
Anyway, let’s talk about some games huh? State of Decay came out and I have yet to play it. I got my hands in the game for about twenty minutes before I passed out. This happened after being a groomsmen in my best friend’s wedding. Had a blast, but eventually I will jump on that zombie filled ride.
I am also tackling Legend of Zelda on the 3DS. Orcana of Time to be exact. Now, don’t get me wrong here, and I know I’m going to face a lot of critisism for saying this: I never got around to playing in the past, and this is the first time I am ever playing it. Now, don’t freak out on me. I am dating the biggest Legend of Zelda fan in the universe and she already threatened my relationship with this game.
Also, I’m not allowed to play Animal Crossing: New Leaf until I beat LoZ. Yeah, go figure huh? Oh wait, THAT GAME FINALLY CAME OUT! It’s also incredibly hard to get a hold of a copy. I went to a couple of stores to find out that they were sold out of copies. Oh well, I tried. Back to LoZ.
Tomorrow starts the real kick-off for E3. We had this poor excuse for a Call of Duty exclusive look today, and even though I wasn’t really “wowed” by it, I’m still gonna buy it. I think I am more invested in the multi-player aspect of the game more than anything. This is because no one really does play the single player, and when you do, it’s 5 hours long. So I’m not that invested in the campaign.
Speaking of Call of Duty, I did invest into the downloadable Revolution map pack. It came with a gun, so yeah, I had to go for it. I like the idea of offering new and interesting weapons to the game. It makes me feel like they are putting more thought into the game aside from “hey, maps.”
I’m also thinking about purchasing a Vita (again). This is because I am very interested in what the PS4 is going to do when it comes to the interactions between the handheld and the system. Even though I have no real use for that specific handheld, I just want to get in before everyone else goes on in and jumps on that train so fast it leaves me at the station.
This week I’ll try to actually get some writing done. I have a real day off and I’ll be happy to let you all into my mind.
